Bandana was born in Pokhara and has spent most of her life looking after her brothers and sisters. She joined WSDO at the age of 16 and quickly learnt how to braid cotton. Bandana soon switched to the dyeing department and now heads it. Today, she is married to a mechanic and they have 2 sons. Bandana loves her role at WSDO but does not stand still - she appreciates there is more to learn and looks forward to doing so!
